On the live stream my delay is excessive. Right now it is nearly 40 minutes, but the time stamp on my capture is correct. I've been able to determine with Tara's help in the basin the delay on the timestamp is off by about 4 seconds.

Anyway, everyone did n excellent job reporting eruptions yesterday. Times were right on and ie's were consistently within one to two minutes.

Most of teh delays everyone is seeing are buffering delays. Those can be delays at the computer or delays at the server or delays at the originating computer. I think what is happening here is that the server is sending me the feed at a slower rate than the stream so that as the day goes on my live stream gets further and further behid.

Yes, because the stream comes with a timestamp. So as long as teh delay is in teh downloading of teh stream, it can be replayed with the propper timestamp
